I don’t know how it happened but suddenly it’s May. The glorious month that leads delicately into summer, rather like an entree, it temps and tantalises, with the promise of the warm summer days to come. With summer days in mind this week it has been a flurry of preparations at Ednovean farm with odd jobs to take care of to get ready for the May bank holiday weekend. I can’t believe we’ve reached August already as the year has sped passed us and with August, time for another roundup about the Ednovean Gardens. With the imperceptible turn of the year the sleek black blackberries glow in the hedgerows and the corn deepens from green to gold in the fields, moving with an idle rustle in the breeze and the garden reaches its zenith.
