Changing the seasons to winter and light
Here at Ednovean we’re settling down to the shorter days as we speed towards the Winter Equinox. There’s a definite change to the seasons now and winter beckons with opens arms.
Our autumn days
Autumn has not stolen in on softly padded velvet paws this year. No, this year our autumn marched into our lives, laced with gales and fogs. This has been an autumn to send the temperatures spinning and the sea into a frenzy of rolling waves and spray.

Summertime in our garden
Suddenly the days lengthened, the courtyard gardens filled with birdsong and our two little bats emerged from their hibernation to flirt with the twilight. Summertime had arrived in our gardens!

A day dawned when the delicious ripple of spring was in the air and teased us from our winter hibernation. We walked under exquisite skies with the scent of the wildflowers drifting around us and the sound of the sea in our ears.

A walk beside the Cornish sea is a wonderful antidote to Christmas, after the days of calorific over indulgence in the rituals of the season. Well who can resist Christmas Pudding!
New Year’s Day dawned with clear blue skies and bright sunshine. It was a day lent from summertime in fact. A day that was far too tempting not to pack a picnic and choose a walk to a secluded cove.
