A very Happy Easter to you

April 19, 2025

A very Happy Easter to you! Goodness – hardly feels any time at all since I wished you a Happy Christmas! The arrival of Easter so soon after Christmas, was something I always found puzzling as a child – although of course I coped with the Easter Eggs!

A very Happy Easter to you

The spring holidays will arrive now in rapid succession, along with the first swallows of spring, just as the plump bumble bees start to tumble through the early flowers.

Getting ready for our Easter guests!

For Ednovean Farm this will be the thirty fourth year as a B&B. This year we’ve been busy as always preparing the house and gardens ready for spring holidays.. . Although I swear that Easter has snuck up on me!

Some spring snaps from the Apricot bedroom

I spent a little extra time rearranging the furniture in the Apricot bedroom ready for that first special holiday of the year. It’s always good to cast a fresh eye over bedrooms and luckily the furniture was casters!

Here’s some snaps of the contrast of the serene creams of the Apricot bedroom the rustic character of the garden breakfast room.

Our April garden

My March garden diary followed our weeks preparing the spring garden amongst the glorious daffodils on a terrace above the sea. As the daffodils gently began to fade in April, we moved on into the gravel borders . This sub tropical garden flanks the Italian Garden and it was a perfect spot to enjoy the recent sunny weather. We felt as though we were on holiday ourselves. In fact one day I had to give up because it was just too hot! I will publish the April diary very soon but for now here are a few snaps

The glorious promise of summer is already visiting our Ednovean Gardens as I wish you a very Happy Easter!!
