The warmth has lingered in the courtyard gardens long into the evening this summer, with the old stone walls soaking up the heat and then slowly releasing the bounty of the day. It was oh so tempting to sit long into the darkness amongst the twinkle of candles. This summer we really did experience a very different life to our usual temperate coastal days!
