Tiptoe into summer

ednovean farm breakfast with a viewJune seemed to appear suddenly this year, without warning. With June came the first meteorological day of summer – in fact I think we tiptoed into summer this year from the long spring days that lingered still fresh and new in our minds. The sea that frames our lives looks impossibly blue these days – one day soon we must walk down to the water’s edge again…… but not yet, not until I’ve finished painting! A moment of magic

Sunset From Ednovean Farm bed and breakfast overlooking St Michael's Mount

The sun setting beyond from Ednovean farm’s garden overlooking St Michael’s Mount

As we start another week here in Cornwall I thought you might enjoy seeing one of those moments of magic when the sun sinks down below the horizon and we slip towards the night. This morning in Cornwall

Ednovean Farm view to St Michaels Mount and Penzance

Looking across Mounts Bay beyond St Michael’s Mount to Penzance and Newlyn

This morning is just too beautiful not to share and so I’m putting a quick mini blog up just of the view. I took this snap from my kitchen this morning looking down over the gardens to St Michaels Mount with the tide right out by the look of it too.

St Michael’s Mount will be open this morning with Tuesday at 1100am. and again at 2.00p.m. From the 15th of March it will open from 10.30 – 5.00 daily (except Saturdays) It looks so lovely out there I wish I could go.  Continue reading “This morning in Cornwall” »

But this week we had such a lovely day catching up with our garden jobs I took a few snaps and here we are ready to go! Continue reading “November in a Cornish Garden” »
