Each day now I watch the starlings begin to group and gather in flocks overhead, swooping in their timeless ballet of the air in ever changing patterns. With the change of the season maybe they scent of winter ahead and they have begun to seek the marshes in Marazion each evening for their nightly roost the very best spot to see the fabulous murmurations.
There is a wonderful atmosphere beside the reed beds as regular viewers gather each night to watch the nightly spectacle and as I waited I heard some interesting anecdotes about the starlings behaviour

The first gale of winter roared in this week and the term “storm lashed bay” springs to mind as I watched the white topped waves sped across the bay beyond the garden. Yet for me there was something intriguing about the motion in the garden that was suddenly brought to life, as the restless wind buffeted the foliage. Easter rabbits enjoying a sunny spring morning at Ednovean Farm
A very happy Easter to you all!
This will be our twenty forth year of welcoming guests to our Bed and Breakfast accommodation although as Charles pointed out, we were married in May and so this is the twenty third Easter for welcoming guests to our home. Evening light on a dressing table
As I trawled through our photo albums today looking for inspiration, it occurred to me that Ednovean Farm did indeed have a mood for all seasons. Changing her outfit like a capricious woman according to her mood, with a character that floats from playfully Mediterranean in the summer to warm and cosily British in the winter. I thought I’d write a short blog today to share a few of my favorite images from the year.
