Godolphin from Bluebell woods to hill

April 30, 2018

A riven fence on the edge of teh woodland at Godolphin House

Spring brings the fabulous swathes of bluebells to the National Trust’s Godolphin estates ancient woodlands. And there is a fabulous walk to the summit of Godolphin Hill with West Penwiths streched panoramically below.

High tide at Rinsey beach

September 26, 2016

We watched the last of the sandy beach vanish under the high tide with the imposing cliffs flanking the cove

Rinsey beach is just below Rinsey head tucked under the National Trust heathland between the harbour town of Porthleven and the popular expanse of golden beach of Praa Sands
