Life in the Gulf Stream

Early morning and I peek down on the parterre in our courtyard garden lined with Date Palms

We are so lucky to live on the West Cornwall Peninsula. The most south westerly peninsular in Britain warmed by the Gulf Stream – the warm air that flows from the Caribbean north east towards Europe and that lends us this unique sub tropical climate. Yet each day as I look down over the courtyard in the morning I still admire the Date Palms for their arching beauty and their ability to transport my imagination to anywhere in the world. Our September Garden Diary for Ednovean Farm

Evening garden sunshineEach month I write a diary update about the Ednovean Farm garden that has given our bed and breakfast guests so much pleasure throughout the year. It only seems like yesterday (and where have you heard that before!) that I nervously wrote out first wordpress update about our garden.
